How we cover the region

One base, twenty cities, one standard

Local crews across the region

Real Deal Builders works out of Santa Clarita. Home is the Santa Clarita Valley, where most of our work happens and where every city has its own pages on this site. South over the pass we serve seven San Fernando Valley cities, from Sylmar and Granada Hills across to Woodland Hills. West we reach Calabasas, Agoura Hills, Westlake Village, Hidden Hills, Thousand Oaks, and Moorpark.

Twenty cities is a deliberate number. It is close enough to one base that a crew can be on your job early and still be reachable after the work is done, and it is small enough that we know the building department and the drive in every one of them.

The same standard everywhere we work

The climate and the housing change from one valley to the next, and we build with those differences in mind. What does not change is the standard.

Every project, in every city we serve, starts with a consultation and a written quote, runs with the trades in the right order, and finishes with the hidden work held to the same care as the parts you see. Choose your city above to see how we work there.

FAQ

Common questions

The questions we hear most often, answered plainly. If your question is not here, call us and we will answer it the same way.

What areas do you serve?

Twenty cities, from our base in Santa Clarita. The Santa Clarita Valley is home: Santa Clarita itself, Valencia, Newhall, Saugus, Canyon Country, Stevenson Ranch, and Castaic. In the San Fernando Valley we serve Sylmar, Granada Hills, Porter Ranch, Sherman Oaks, Encino, Tarzana, and Woodland Hills. West of there we serve Calabasas, Agoura Hills, Westlake Village, Hidden Hills, Thousand Oaks, and Moorpark. That list is the whole service area, and it is the same list on our Google Business Profile. If you are just outside it, call and ask.

Do you charge more for cities farther from Santa Clarita?

We price each project on its scope, not on how far the drive is. We plan our schedule around the drive so crews work full days, and we are upfront about anything that affects the number before the work begins.

Can you start soon in my city?

It depends on our current schedule and the size of your project. Reach out and we will give you a realistic start window along with your quote. For urgent repairs we can usually find room sooner.

Do you have a physical office we can visit?

Our base is in Santa Clarita, and most of our work happens on your site rather than in an office. If you want to meet in person, we come to the job walk that starts every project. That is the most useful meeting either of us can have.

Which city should I click on if I am on the edge of two areas?

Either works. If you are between two cities pick the one you consider home. The service is the same either way, and we will confirm the actual address on the first call, because the address is what decides which building department reviews the permit.

Do you work outside these listed cities?

Sometimes. These twenty are the service area we commit to, and we know the drive and the local building department in each one. We would rather name twenty cities we actually cover than a long list we cannot stand behind. If you are just outside, call and ask, and we will tell you honestly whether it is a fit.

How do local building departments and permits differ across your service area?

Each city and unincorporated county area runs its own building department with its own review timelines and fee schedules. We know these differences and build the right permit timeline into your project schedule up front rather than treat it as a surprise.

Are your crews from Santa Clarita, or local to each city?

Our crews run out of the Santa Clarita base. The advantage is that a single team carries our standard from job to job across the region, rather than the quality swinging based on whichever local subcontractor is available that week.

Do you handle rural and hillside properties differently?

Yes. Rural properties often carry septic, well, outbuildings, and access considerations that suburban tract homes do not. Hillside properties bring structure and drainage detailing that flat lots do not need. We scope the whole property rather than treat it as a suburban parcel.

How do I get started?

Call us, use the contact page, or book a consultation on the city page for your area. We will walk your project with you and put together a detailed written quote before any work begins.
